My coaching and team development to date have focussed on establishing and coaching teams, work-site communication and supporting and coaching leaders. I have vast experience with various safety systems and processes - involving people management and coaching - which has led to improvements in the use of safety tools and processes across many projects in high-hazard industries resulting in safer and more successful operations.

Ontological Coaching focuses on our Way of Being; which is a dynamic interrelationship between three areas of human existence: Language, Emotions, and Body. Our Way of Being is often a set of deep-seated perceptions and attitudes and is the underlying driver of our behaviour and communication.
Ontological Coaching has a holistic orientation that respectfully generates learning in all three areas of language, emotions, and body as the catalyst for substantive and sustainable change.
Ontology is the study of being and Ontological Coaching is coaching to our Way of Being. Actually, Ontology is all about the stories we live in and how we got to do that. More importantly, Ontological Coaching gives us a way to write a new story, and we can enjoy better results and relationships in the process.
Ontological Coaching is effective because it is based on a practical understanding of language, moods and conversations for behavioural and cultural transformation.
Ontological Coaching offers a way to living and working well and developing a life of deep satisfaction, meaning and fulfilment. In a world of relentless and continual change, this is no small matter!

Research shows that personality type is triggered by DNA, brain lobe dominance and body chemistry (as well as being influenced by the environment and personal experience).
Through understanding not only what makes people ‘tick’ but also some of the science underpinning why we think and behave in the way we do, gives us a unique view of our thinking patterns, our behaviours, and our natural skills and talents. Enhancing understanding of ourselves enables us to become more effective partners in the workplace.

Understanding one’s own and another's inherent nature and personality, is arguably the most essential aspect to building relationships and producing high performance.
The Personality Compass is one of my core tools to kick of our conversations. It’s simplicity belies its complexity and is by far the most accurate tool available.
My other go-to profiling tool is DiSC® a tool I have used for over 20+ years.
Inter-Cultural Intelligence (ICI) is a combination of the insights, competencies, attitudes, and behaviors that enable you to assess intercultural situations accurately, to engage effectively with the world around you.
The Three Colours of Worldview© (3CoWV) - the Three Colors of Worldview© tool assists people with a deeper understanding of their own and other people’s cultural drivers, motivators and demotivators.
The Cultural Mapping Inventory© (CMi) - the CMi provides people with a detailed framework that illuminates behavior from a cultural perspective.
Engaging positively with Conflict
Mediation is used more and more to support the resolution of conflict in a wide variety of contexts. It helps people to find solutions to resolve disputes putting people in control of the outcomes in a way which can be cheaper less stressful and quicker.
Coaching and Mediation play nicely together; in general where mediation is required so is Conversational Intelligence and coaching can play a big role in sustaining positive outcomes beyond mediation.
The World Cafe methodology is a simple, effective, and flexible format for hosting large group dialogue. One of my most favourite tools for creating the space required to have anything from simple to highly complex conversations. I have witnessed the amazing transformation, joy, and wonder through the facilitation of world cafe sessions.
